13:46 (CET) - Loonie's reaction to the data
|
The loonie is weakening after the bad Canadian GDP data. Right now, the UsdCad is rebounding up to 1.0785, offering us a fantastic 118 pips rally. The price is breaking the upper band of Bollinger, which indicates a possible correction to the downside to the middle band. The RSI shows the pair is clearly overbought.
If the trend doesn't shift, the next targets are at 1.0800 and 1.0821, while on the upper side the supports to consider are at 1.0727 and 1.0672 Canadian dollars per US dollar.
