The NzdJpy is trading at 49.21, ranging from 48.95 to 49.60 in the current session. The current price is under yesterday's close at 49.60. The 20- and 50-day Exponential Mobile Averages (EMA) are under the 200-day EMA.
After breaking the support at 51.62 (December 23rd low), the traders are watching 48.19 (December 12th low) and 42.54 (November 13th, 2000 low). The resistances are set at 50.00 (key), 54.72 (January 8th low), 56.36 (January 6th low).
This session, the Yen advanced 0.4% against the kiwi, as the investors are seeking refuge in the Yen. The worries about the bailouts that the UK gonvernment was forced to make in the last hours and the perspectives of a deeper recession than anticipated, were the reasons for this.
Observing the daily charts, we see that the current price is under the 100.00% (63.57) retracement line. The 60-minute Relative Strenght Index (RSI) is at 41 points, rebounding from the overbought area. The volatility per hour is 170 pips.
