The AudJpy is trading at 59.49. The price is over yesterday's close at 55.81. Checking the hourly graphics, we see that the 20- and 50-day EMA are under the 200-day EMA.
As the price broke the support at 62.35 (July 24th, 2003 low), the traders are keeping an ey on the next at 58.11 (September 20th, 2001 low) and 55.48 (0.00% retracement). They are also keeping an eye on the resistances at 72.36 (October 9th high), 82.85 (October 3rd high) anda 90.27 (September 22nd high).
As the appetite for the carry trades is back given the equity markets rise today, the AudJpy is rebounding from last week's and 2008 low at 55.60 Yens. As this is also the 2000 low, its relevance is even bigger.
Meanwhile, the 60-minute RSI is at 61 points, near the oversold area. The average volatility per hour is 450 pips. Checking the daily graphics, the current price is under the 23.60% (71.23) and over the 0.00% (55.48) Fibonacci retracements lines.
