The EurUsd is trading at 1.3478, ranging from 1.3424 to 1.3518. The current price is over yesterday's close at 1.3456. Checking the hourly graphics, the 20- and 50-day Exponential Mobile Averages (EMA) are under the 200-day EMA.
The supports are at 1.3259 (October 10th low), 1.3000 (key) and 1.2641 (October 20th 2006 low). The resistances are watched, just in case, at 1.3668 (October 15th high), 1.3769 (October 14th high) and 1.4015 (October 2nd high).
At the start of the week, the major touched the 1.3769 dollar high. The equity markets eased for a few days, causing a renewed appetite for high yielders.
Despite that, the credit tensions sent the stocks to negative territory, forcing the investors to make a flight to security on the Dollar. This way, we saw the single currency build a low at 1.3346, very near the anual low at 1.3259.
Meanwhile, the 60-minute Relative Strenght Index (RSI) is at 51 points, rebounding from the oversold area. The volatility per hour is 160 pips. Going with the daily graphics, we see that the current price is just under the 23.60% (1.4204) and over the 38.20% (1.3080) Fibonacci retracement lines.
