In order to reflect on the real market dynamics ACM broadcasts factual spreads receivable from our liquidity providers. Our systems are conceived to choose and transmit the best prices available to us from our partner banks. However, high market volatility caused by lasting macroeconomic effects may cause our counterparties to quote larger-then-normal spreads on non-RFQ systems, causing ACM to adapt to this environment in real time.

****At ACM an institutional account is an account set up with margin funds of at least at 50'000 USD or equivalent amount in a different currency base account (ACM supports USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, CAD, AUD & JPY). Traditionally, institutional sized accounts have been much larger at ACM, generally starting at minimum of 1'000'000 USD. By drastically lowering the level at which a customer can obtain an institutional account, ACM makes available true institutional market pricing to the average client. This marks a new era for the average foreign exchange trader as spread costs continue to fall!
Account categories at ACM cannot be changed because of profits or losses. Therefore a client holder of a standard account cannot graduate to an institutional account because he has generated profits that take him through the 50'000 USD mark just as an institutional account holder will not be switched over to standard pricing if his equity falls underneath 50'000 USD because of any losses he may have incurred.
Only original and additional account funding defines if a customer has a standard or an institutional account. |
